European Contracts Executive- £30,000

London

This role is full time office based for the first 6 months and then hybrid working is optional of 2 days at home, 3 days office based.

This role is working for a leading Destination Management Company (DMC)

The main function of this role is the sourcing, negotiating, contracting & data entry/upkeep of all of the companies European products. This also includes the ongoing relationship management of all those suppliers providing those products. The Contracts Executive-Europe will support the Contracts Manager in managing relationships and internal systems focusing on European Hotels.

This role will suit someone who has an understanding of negotiating group and FIT trade rates, who has managed systems and data input, to ensure bed allocations and products are allocated correctly and know when product is low and more product is needed and how to contract this.

If you have attended trade shows before such as ETOA, UKinbound, WTM, then you will already understand the type of skill set needed to fulfill this role, these are:

Strong negotiation skills

Attention to detail

Experience in system and data input (this is a heavily administrative role)

Strong geographical knowledge of England, Scotland and Continental Europe.

A strong understanding of tourism ‘ground services’ and ‘hotels and accomodation’ and the difference between these.

You must have a proven background within the travel and tourism industry.
