Vamonos Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well established Tour Operator in Surrey. They specialise in a niche sector offering tours throughout Europe. They are on the search for a Head of / Director of Operations that can work closely with the Managing Director to help manage and lead the team within operations, product development and tour management.
The role:
Strategically lead the cross functional teams, ensure effective communication and coordination across all departments. The Director of Operations will be responsible for developing business efficiency,
steamline team KPI’s, ensuring that the company’s goals are achieved and ensuring that the company operates smoothly and achieves its goals. This role is crucial in connecting all departments,
ensuring that everyone is aligned and moving towards the same goals.

Skills required:
- At least 5 years senior level management within a tour operator
- Strong leadership skills with working knowledge of operations and product negotiations
- Proven track record of performance monitoring and encouraging career development
- Strong data and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
This role will suit someone who has experience leading team within an inbound tour operator, Group Travel Operator or Student Travel Operator.
